Applications
The melt flow rate meter is an instrument for measuring the flow properties of plastic polymers at high temperatures according to the test method of GB3682-2000. It is used for high polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, polycarbonate, and nylon fluoroplastics. Determination of the melt flow rate of a substance at high temperature. It is suitable for the production and research of factories, enterprises and scientific research units.
Structure and Principle
The melt flow rate meter is an extrusion plastic meter. It uses a high-temperature heating furnace to make the measured object reach a molten state under specified temperature conditions. The test object in this molten state is extruded through a small hole of a certain diameter under the load gravity of the specified weight. In the plastic production of industrial enterprises and the research of scientific research units, "melt (mass) flow rate" is often used to express the physical properties of polymer materials such as fluidity and viscosity in the molten state. The so-called melt index refers to the average weight of each section of the extruded sample converted into the extruded amount in 10 minutes.
The instrument consists of a heating furnace and a temperature control system and is installed on the base of the fuselage (column).
The temperature control part adopts the single-chip microcomputer to adjust the power and control the temperature. It has strong anti-interference ability, high temperature control precision and stable control. The heating wire in the furnace is wound on the heating rod according to a certain rule to minimize the temperature gradient to meet the standard requirements.
