A halogen Moisture Meter is an instrument specially used to measure the water content in a material or sample. It employs halogen heating technology to make the measurement. The halogen Moisture Meter works based on heating the sample and measuring the weight loss of moisture in the sample. It uses a heating element, usually a halogen lamp or halogen heating tube, to transfer thermal energy to the sample. As the sample is heated, the moisture in it gradually evaporates. The instrument determines the moisture content by continuously monitoring the weight change of the sample. Generally speaking, the higher the moisture content, the greater the weight loss of the sample.
