Applications
The universal penetrometer is based on geotechnical tests: the correlation between soil penetration and soil dry density, the relationship between soil penetration and moisture content, and the relationship between soil moisture content and compactness. Through a large number of parallel comparison tests between penetration and ring knife methods and establishing regression equations, the correlation data table between the unearthed penetration resistance and dry density was calibrated. By measuring the penetration resistance and looking up the table, the dry density can be quickly obtained, and then the compaction coefficient can be quickly calculated.
Features
