Introduction

The five sugar content analyzers in the Hanna food series are sturdy in appearance and made of waterproof material. They are easy to carry and convenient for laboratory and field measurement. The series of instruments include H196800 refractive index/Brix, HI96801 % Brix (sucrose), H196802 fructose, HI96803 glucose and HI96804 invert sugar digital refractometer to meet different user measurement needs. These instruments use the measured refractive index of the sample to convert into Brix parameters.

The refractive index measurement is very simple and fast. The user only needs to calibrate the refractometer with distilled or deionized water and then add two drops of the sample to be measured into the sample chamber. The measured value of the sample to be measured can be obtained within a few seconds. The instrument automatically performs temperature compensation, and the measurement results are accurate and reliable.

Using internationally recognized units and temperature compensation, and using the recommended method certified by ICUMSA (International Committee for Unified Sugar Analysis), the sample refractive index is measured within seconds. While displaying the measurement results, the screen can also display other help information such as measurement temperature, battery power, etc.
