Introduction
HI96831 Ethylene glycol (glycol) freezing point refractometer analysis refractometer adopts refractive index measurement method, which uses the measurement of refractive index to determine the volume percentage and freezing point of ethylene glycol solution. It is simple to operate and fast to analyze, and provides a good method for measuring the concentration and freezing point of ethylene glycol (also known as "glycol", "1.2-ethylene glycol, referred to as EG") in food.
This digital refractometer eliminates the uncertainties associated with mechanical refractometers. HI96831 samples were measured after simple user calibration using distilled or deionized water. In seconds, refractive index and temperature are measured and converted to one of two measurement units; % volume or freezing point. The meter uses the internationally recognized reference for unit conversion and temperature compensation of glycol solutions (e.g. CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 87th Edition).
