Introduction

HI705 Silica SiO2 LR Colorimeter is an instrument used to measure low concentration silica (SiO2) content in water samples, where "LR" stands for "Low Range". This instrument is commonly used in drinking water treatment, environmental monitoring and industrial production processes. HI705 Silica SiO2 LR Colorimeter is based on the chemical reaction between silica and a certain reagent to produce dyes or compounds, the concentration of which is proportional to the silica content in the water sample. The concentration of silica in a water sample is determined by measuring the optical density, or shade of color, of the stain.
