        Introduction

        HI96821 refractometer measures the refractive index of a liquid solution sample and converts it into the sodium chloride content of the sample. It is specially used for the food industry and is not suitable for seawater salinity measurement.

        The refractive index measurement is very simple and fast. The user only needs to calibrate the refractometer with distilled or deionized water and then add two drops of the sample to be measured into the sample chamber. The sodium chloride measurement value of the sample to be measured can be obtained within a few seconds. . The instrument automatically performs temperature compensation, and the measurement results are accurate and reliable. Samples are measured after simple user calibration using deionized or distilled water. The instrument measures the refractive index of the solution within seconds, performs the necessary calculations, and displays the results in selected units. Digital refractometers eliminate the uncertainties associated with mechanical refractometers, allowing portable measurements where needed.

        The instrument adopts internationally recognized reference unit conversion and temperature compensation methods and can display NaCI concentration in 4 different reference units: g/100g, g/100 mL, specific gravity and °Baumé (degrees of Baume). The second line of the LCD screen can simultaneously display the measured temperature, low battery prompt icon and other help information.

        Concentration Unit switch: Press the RANGE key to cycle to switch G-G (g/100g), G-L (g/100mL), S. G (specific gravity), BAU (weight).
