Introduction

KS-150 in-situ single shear Tester is a special instrument used to detect the shear strength of building masonry. The instrument is a small hydraulic device, through the piston rising to push the cover plate to produce force on the block to detect the shear strength of the masonry, so that the upper and lower two surfaces of the block are sheared, by measuring the force when the block is sheared, the shear strength of the masonry is calculated, the test results are intuitive, and the detection part is partially damaged.

Operating Principle

Press the hand pump and press the handle, the hydraulic oil communicates with the digital pressure gauge through the oil pipe, and the other way enters the single shear instrument to push the piston up, and the piston pushes the cover plate to exert thrust on the block. With the increase of the thrust of the block, the upper and lower sides of the block are sheared, and the oil pressure is rapidly reduced back to zero, and the piston returns to position under the action of spring force. The digital pressure gauge records the pressure value at this time, and the shear strength of the masonry can be calculated by calculation.
