The DB20-CM212 statistical Coating Thickness Gauge has a standard test range of 0 to 1250 µm and a resolution of up to 0.1 µm (below 100 µm). It uses magnetic Induction and eddy Current principles to directly measure magnetically permeable materials and can also measure the thickness of insulating coatings on non-magnetically permeable metal substrates.
