Application

Rock point load Tester is a kind of testing instrument used for rock point load test and determination of rock point load strength index. According to the rock point load intensity index, the uniaxial compressive strength of the rock can be calculated, the anisotropy of the rock (that is, the ratio of the maximum to the minimum value of the load intensity at different points), the weathering zone can be determined, the rock drilling speed can be estimated, the rock can be graded, and so on.

    Rock point load Tester is a kind of testing instrument suitable for use on the construction site. The point load test has low requirements for the preparation of rock samples, which can be core samples for engineering exploration or irregular samples with slight trimming. Specimen preparation does not require special machining, and compared with conventional testing, it has the characteristics of fast test speed, short test cycle, simple method and low cost. It can be widely used in field tests of geology, mining, hydropower, railway and transportation construction projects. In 1972, the rock point load test was officially listed as one of the methods for determining rock strength by the Test Methods Committee of the International Society of Rock Mechanics, and the method was revised in 1985 by the Test Methods Committee of the International Society of Rock Mechanics. Rock point load strength has been widely used in CHINA's national standards and many departmental specifications.

Structure and characteristics 

1. It adopts horizontal structure, which is convenient for afterburner and has good stability. 

2. The reaction frame adopts a cylindrical structure, which has good neutrality, no eccentricity, and a firm and compact structure, which can meet the test requirements of high-strength and large core samples. 

3. The jack is installed on the cylinder shell, processed by high-quality and high-strength materials, compact and reasonable structure, beautiful appearance, light weight and easy to carry. 

4. The loading cone is made of cemented carbide material, which has high strength and durability. 

5. Strain gauge sensor and liquid crystal display instrument are used to form an independent electronic force measurement system, which has the characteristics of high resolution, high test accuracy and convenient reading. 

6. It is powered by rechargeable lithium battery, which is convenient for field use.
