        Introduction

The Dutch TQC VF1999/2000/2001/2003/2004 DIN cup is a DIN desktop flow Viscosity Cup. Its filter tip can be replaced. You only need to purchase filters of different diameters to meet different viscosity range tests and save costs. DIN cups are suitable for testing the viscosity of paints, varnishes and other liquids. The cup body of this VF1999/2000/2001/2003/2004 DIN cup is made of titanium anodized aluminum. The cup spout holder and cup spout are made of stainless steel and comply with DIN53211 standards.

The special aluminum din desktop Flow Cup is equipped with a stainless steel filter positioner, which can replace stainless steel filters with apertures of 1mm-8mm. Stainless steel filters must be ordered separately. The internal dimensions of the replaceable filter Viscosity Cups are similar to those specified in DIN53211.

The TQCdin cup can be used with a stand, which needs to be purchased separately.

        Features

The design of the annular groove at the mouth of the cup can store spilled liquid.

The overall dimensions are designed so that they can be matched with the TQC Viscosity Cup holder.

Easy to clean. There are no indentations in the structure of the cup wall and outflow hole that are difficult to clean.

TQC Viscosity Cups are produced with consistent quality control.

Each Viscosity Cup is engraved with a unique serial number.

        Instructions

According to the standards for use of din desktop Flow Cups, the temperature of the liquid to be measured is 25 degrees Celsius, and during the test process it is necessary to ensure that the temperature fluctuation is minimal and cannot exceed +/-0.2 degrees Celsius. Adjust the temperature of the liquid to be measured if necessary.

Select a Viscosity Cup with an appropriate hole size based on the specification table and the expected viscosity range of the liquid to be measured.

Adjust the Viscosity Cup so that it is in a horizontal position (Viscosity Cup holder and bubble level indicator are recommended). Then cover the outflow hole, inject the liquid to be measured into the Viscosity Cup, and make the curved surface of the liquid above the edge of the cup mouth.

Use a glass pumping plate to move the liquid curved surface into the overflow ring and close the din cup.

The liquid level distance between the outflow hole of the din cup and the recovered sample needs to be greater than 100 mm. Open the covered outflow hole and remove the glass extractor. The timing starts from the removal of the glass pumping plate and ends with the first interruption of the liquid stream.

        Maintenance

It is especially important to clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching its inner surface.

Although the Viscosity Cup is designed to be sturdy, it is a precision instrument and must not be dropped or hit.

Need to be cleaned after use.

Please use a soft cloth to clean the Viscosity Cup. Do not use wire brushes or sandpaper. Because this will cause damage similar to that caused by corrosive cleaning agents

        Long-lasting damage.

Never hit the spout directly when removing it. Please use the pin rod provided with the din desktop Flow Cup to hold the cup mouth, and then tap it with a heavy object (such as a paper weight).

Before installing the cup spout, make sure the cup spout and Viscosity Cup are clean.

When not in use, please put the din cup back into the box.

        We recommend annual calibration.

        FAQ

        [Q]
Can this DIN cup be applied to DIN53211?
        [A]
        OK
        [Q]
What is the difference between Ding 4 and Ding 6 cups?
        [A]
Hello, both DIN 4 cups and DIN 6 cups meet the din 53211 standard, and their filter diameters are 4mm 6mm respectively, so they are suitable for sample measurement with different flow times and viscosity ranges. Thank you for your consultation!
