NK-2 Iwata Cup Overview

JinKeLian NK-2 Iwata cup is a Viscosity Cup designed according to the Japanese I15 standard. It is mainly used to quickly measure the viscosity of the paint to be sprayed on the construction site. The applicable viscosity range is 70~370cst. NK-2 Iwata Cup can be widely used in electronic products, plastics, coatings and other industries. The external and internal apertures of NK-2 Iwata cups are φ6.0±0.5mm and φ3.81±0.05mm, respectively.

NK-2 Iwata cup operation steps

- Immerse the dip cup in the fluid so that the upper edge of the cup is below the level surface of the liquid 

- Lift the cup vertically and press the stopwatch at the same time 

- Stop the stopwatch when the outflow line breaks for the first time 

- To evaluate, three consecutive measurements are taken 

- Average of three measurements as the outflow time of the liquid
