Principle
QHY Buckholtz indentation Tester is used to measure the hardness of paint film by indentation test method. The test apparatus consists of a steel block with 2 fulcrums, a constant test load of 500g, a sharp-edged circular indentation disk and a 20x microscope with a 0.1mm scale and a built-in light source. During the test, place the Tester of the QHY Buckholz indentation Tester on the coating surface for 30 seconds to obtain an indentation, observe it with a microscope and a built-in light source, and the length of the indentation is inversely proportional to the hardness. The hardness is expressed as the reciprocal function of the indentation length (indentation resistance) under the specified test conditions.
