Apiezon L-50G Vacuum Grease is a silicone-free and halogen-free ultra-high vacuum grease with the following features:

• The vapor pressure displayed at 20°C is extremely low at 7x10^-11 torr

• Free from contamination issues associated with silicone-based greases, such as 'creep' or 'hold-up'

• Provides very good lubricating properties

• It is recommended to use at room temperature

• There is built-in radiation protection

• With a strong 'adsorption' ability, it absorbs potentially harmful greases and chemical impurities on metal and glass surfaces

• Easy to clean and remove, easily wiped off with a soft, clean lint-free cloth that dissolves in hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents

  Note: Since Apiezon hydrocarbon-based greases are insoluble in alcohol (ethyl alcohol, isopropanol) or ketones (acetone, butanone), they cannot be cleaned with these substances.

1) Apiezon L-grease is compatible with a wide range of o-ring materials, including:Fluoroelastomer, silicone, nitrile (> 30% nitrile content), nylon,polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene;

2) Apiezon L-type grease has a hydrocarbon matrix, so it is not compatible with the following substances: EPDM, ethylene propylene rubber, butyl rubber, PVC sealing ring.
