GB/T 8050-2017 "Fiber rope polypropylene (PP) split film, monofilament, multifilament (PP2) and high strength multifilament (PP3) 3, 4, 8, 12 strands of rope" stipulates the definition of terms, identification, general technical requirements, physical performance and marking of relevant fiber ropes. The standard applies to polypropylene (PP) fiber ropes with line density 6.51 ktex~ 12180 ktex and rope code 4~ 160, which are widely used in industrial and civil fields. The standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 1346:2012, which is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Household Spinning & Weaving Products. It was released on May 12, 2017 and officially implemented on December 1, 2017.
