The GB 5370-1985 standard specifies a method for evaluating the anti-fouling performance of anti-fouling paint for steel ships and offshore engineering structures when soaked in shallow water. By soaking the model of painting anti-fouling paint in shallow water, the adhesion species, adhesion amount and reproduction degree of marine fouling organisms were observed monthly, and the anti-fouling performance of anti-fouling paint was evaluated by comparing it with the blank model and the control model. The test equipment includes flotation and frame, and the sample needs to be prepared according to the specification. Regular observation and recording are required during the soaking process to finally evaluate the effect of anti-fouling paint.
