The ISO 13805-1999 enamel and enamel on aluminium, determination of adhesion of the enamel layer on aluminium under the action of electrolysis solution (flaking test) standard specifies a test method for evaluating the adhesion of enamel and enamel coatings on aluminium substrates. This method detects the adhesion strength between the ceramic layer and the aluminium substrate by flaking tests under the action of electrolysis solution. The purpose of the standard is to provide manufacturers with a reliable quality control tool to ensure stable adhesion of the porcelain layer during use and to prevent flaking of the porcelain layer due to insufficient adhesion. This method is of great significance for aluminum surface preparation, mass evaluation of enamel and enamel coatings.
