The NF T30-092-1-2019 standard specifies a method for determining the hiding power of white and shallow Paints using the Kubelka-Munk method. This method is based on the principle of Optical inspection and calculates the hiding power by measuring the scattering and absorption coefficients of the film to light. It is suitable for Coatings with Y value ≥ 70 and hiding power > 80%. Not suitable for fluorescent or metallic paints.
