The DIN EN 13009-2000 standard specifies a method for the determination of the wet expansion or wet contraction behavior of building materials under heat and humidity conditions. It is mainly applicable to mineral and porous hygroscopic materials, but can also be used for Miscellaneous materials that are deformed due to moisture changes. This standard helps to evaluate the performance of materials during actual reversible expansion/cissing processes and does not include testing of the initial cissing after the production of the material.
