This standard specifies the cupping test method for measuring cupping value (IE) of aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, strips and foils for inspection of the plastic deformation performance of materials during stretch and expansion forming. Applicable to aluminum and aluminum alloy plates, strips and foils with a thickness of 0.1 to 3.0 mm.
