This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marks, Encasement, transportation and storage of Cardboard stiffness meters. It is applicable to Taber Stiffness meters and their derivative letter Stiffness meters and electronic horizontal Stiffness meters, and specifies the requirements for periodic calibrating. In the cited documents, the relevant standards for Encasement, signage and mechanical and electrical products are listed. The classification of Stiffness meters shall comply with the provisions in Table 1.
