This standard specifies methods for determining the low temperature resistance performance of coated fabrics, including low temperature impact testing and determination of the ultimate embrittlening temperature. It is suitable for coated fabrics where the sample can be bent into the test state at room temperature without damage. Two test methods with different parameters are provided. The test results are not comparable and should be selected as needed. The principle of the method is to bend the sample into a ring and place it in a low temperature chamber. Impact the sample with a free-falling heavy hammer at a certain initial temperature until the sample is damaged. Or use a drop weight Impact sample at a specified lower temperature to observe whether the coating surface is damaged.
