This standard specifies three methods for laboratory Light source exposure testing of synthetic leather: Xenon-arc lamp method (A method), fluorescent UV Lamp method (B method) and open carbon arc lamp method (C method), as well as provisions for their results and evaluation. Applicable to accelerated weathering testing and evaluation of synthetic leather using laboratory Light sources. The standard also includes some normative reference documents, such as Spinning & weaving color fastness test, standard environment for plastic specimen conditioning and testing, as well as specimen preparation requirements and pre-test handling regulations.
