This standard defines a method for the measurement of fluorescent whitening agent content in tissue paper using the UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The specimen is first extracted by methanol ultrasound, then mixed with alkaline distillation water, measured with UV-Vis Spectrophotometer at 348nm Absorbance, and finally quantified using the standard Linear dispersion method.
