This standard specifies the potential Titrimetric method for the determination of acid-soluble chlorides in light-burnt mg. It is applicable to a variety of mg products such as light-burnt mg. The determination range is 0.0060%~ 0.02%. Necessary normative documents are cited and a summary of the method is provided. The samples are analyzed under nitric acid conditions. The chloride ion selective electrode or silver electrode is used for measurement. The silver nitrate (AgNO3) standard solution is titrated and the endpoint is calculated by the secondary differential method. All reagents and materials must be of analytical purity grade or meet the corresponding purity standards.
