This standard specifies the structural dimensions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, Encasement, transportation and storage of Shore A type rubber hardness gauge. Hardness is applicable to the determination of vulcanized rubber, plastic and thermal plasticity resilience. The main structure includes pressure needle, pressure foot, spring and display mechanism. The structure and main dimensions of pressure needle and pressure foot are shown in the chart. The spring resilience, shape and size of the same type of hardness gauge must be the same. Hardness gauge can be equipped with a fixed load frame.
