This document describes a method for determining the pyrolysis rate of urea in a flue gas denitrification system by selective catalytic reduction method for power plant boilers. It is suitable for determining the concentration of urea pyrolysis products in air and industrial waste gas and the pyrolysis rate of urea. The determination principle is to analyze urea into ammonia and isocyanic acid at high temperature, and then determine the content of ammonia by ammonia ion electrode method after sampling by two-stage absorption method. Finally, the pyrolysis rate of urea is calculated according to the measurement results.
