This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules and marking, Encasement, transportation and storage of asphalt used for waterproof membranes. Petroleum asphalt suitable for the production of modified asphalt waterproofing membranes and self-adhesive modified asphalt waterproofing membranes prepared by distillation, oxidation or blending of natural petroleum. According to the performance, it is divided into Type I and Type II. The former is suitable for modified asphalt membranes, and the latter is suitable for self-adhesive modified asphalt membranes.
