This standard specifies the method for the determination of phosphorus, aluminum, titanium, copper, manganese and calcium content by Inductance Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (AES) method (ICP-AES). It is suitable for the determination of elements in ferrochromium with a carbon content of less than 4%. At the same time, the determination of corresponding elements in silicon-chromium alloys can also be carried out by reference. A number of normative documents are quoted, and the principle of sample analysis and the requirements for the use of reagents are described.
