CB/T 3513-2013 "Technical Requirements for Acceptance of Ship Painting Mass" specifies the mass requirements for steel ship paintings and their inspection and acceptance scope, items and procedures. The standard applies to the painting mass acceptance of newly built steel ships, and the painting mass acceptance of Miscellaneous steel structures can be carried out by reference. The standard covers the requirements for steel surface preparation before painting, including visual assessment of surface cleanliness, determination of surface roughness after jet cleaning, and determination of conductivity of water-soluble salts. In addition, a series of relevant standards are also cited, such as ship undercoat, hull secondary derusting assessment grade, ship painting film thickness detection requirements, etc., to ensure that ship paintings have good protection performance and durability during transportation and use.
