It applies to coated Glass with self-cleaning and reduced infrared heat radiation transmission ability. In this standard, self-cleaning insulated flat-plate coated Glass is defined as flat Glass with self-cleaning and reduced infrared heat radiation transmission ability achieved through the coating process. The total solar infrared thermal energy transmittance is defined as the ratio of the solar radiation intensity directly transmitted through the Glass and the sum of the portions of the Glass absorbing solar energy transmitted through the secondary heat transfer to the solar incidence radiation intensity in the Near infrared band of the solar Light spectrum, expressed as gIR.
