GB/T 43720-2024 "Chemical testing of leather and fur, determination of flame retardants" describes the test method for the determination of flame retardants in leather and fur products using gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and liquid chromatograph tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) methods. This standard applies to the determination of 29 flame retardants (see Appendix A for details) in leather, fur and their products. Accurate detection of flame retardants is ensured through two advanced analytical techniques, GC-MS and LC-MS/MS, to ensure the mass and safety of products. The standard refers to relevant standard documents such as GB/T 6682, GB/T 39364, QB/T 1267, QB/T 1272, and QB/T 2716 to ensure the scientific and standardized testing process.
