GB/T 38403.2-2024 "Determination of anti-mildew agent in leather and fur, Part 2: Liquid chromatography, LC (artificial sweat extraction) " specifies the use of artificial sweat extraction, by Liquid chromatography, LC method for determining the content of anti-mildew agent in leather and fur. It is suitable for the determination of four anti-mildew agents including benzene thiocyanide (TCMTB), 4-chloro-3-methyl phenol (PCMC), o-phenyl phenol (OPP), N-octyl isothiazolinone (OIT), and is also suitable for blue wet leather, white wet leather and other leather working in progress. The standard provides a scientific basis for the detection of anti-mildew agent content in leather and fur products, and helps to evaluate the anti-mildew effect and potential health risks of products in actual use.
