        The GB/T 39077-2024 standard specifies the detection method of harmful phases in austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steels, which is suitable for stainless steels during production or long-term use. The standard mainly includes microstructure inspection, Charpy impact test and ferric chloride corrosion test methods to evaluate the impact of harmful relative material performance in stainless steels. The detection method covers the identification of intermetallic and Non-metallic precipitates to ensure that the material maintains good toughness and corrosion resistance after heat treatment or welding. This standard replaces GB/T 39077-2020 and provides detailed technical requirements and acceptance criteria for the performance testing of austenitic-ferritic stainless steels.
