The national standard "GB/T 44307-2024 Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics, Determination of Fiber Mass Content, Thermogravimetric Analysis (TG) " specifies a method for the determination of fiber mass content in carbon fiber reinforced plastics using thermogravimetric analysis (TG). Suitable for carbon fiber prepregs and carbon fiber reinforced plastics, the fiber mass content is determined by heating the sample in a specific atmosphere and recording the mass loss. The method provides a fast, safe and environmentally friendly testing means to replace the traditional acid etching method, which helps to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the test. The standard equivalent adopts the ISO 22821:2021 international standard, which will be implemented on March 1, 2025.
