The national standard "GB/T 10069.3-2024 Methods and Limits for Measuring Noise of Swirl/spin Motors, Part 3: Noise Limits" specifies the methods and limits for measuring the acoustic Power level of swirl/spin motors. Suitable for AC and DC motors that comply with specific chill down methods and Protection levels. Power range from 1kW to 5500kW, Rotation speed does not exceed 3750r/min. This standard provides the maximum acoustic Power level limit for the noise emitted by the motor from the air, and describes the test methods and test conditions for measuring the acoustic Power level of the motor. The purpose is to assess whether the noise of the motor reaches the specified limit. The standard will be implemented on March 1, 2025, equivalent to the IEC international standard IEC 60034-9:2021.
