      GB/T 44760-2024 "Ultrasonic detection methods for zirconium and zirconium alloy pipes" standard specifies the requirements for ultrasonic detection technology for seamless and welded pipes of zirconium and zirconium alloys. It is suitable for pipes with an outer diameter of 6mm to 100mm and a thickness to outer diameter ratio of not more than 0.2. This standard describes in detail the technical requirements for testing equipment, probes, couplers, test conditions, etc., and stipulates the production and use of manual standard defects. During the testing process, the pipes need to be cleaned, the equipment needs to be calibrated, and the inspectors should have the corresponding qualifications. By comparing the echo signal with the standard defect signal, it is judged whether the pipe is qualified. The standard also specifies data processing and test reporting requirements to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of the ultrasonic testing process.
