The ASTM D4966-22 standard test method uses the Martindale Abrasion tester to evaluate the abrasion resistance of Spinning & weaving fabrics. This method measures the abrasion resistance of the fabric by simulating the friction and abrasion of the fabric with Miscellaneous objects during actual use. During the test process, the fabric is contacted with the abrasion disc under a fixed pressure and rubbed multiple times until visible damage or damage occurs.
