"GB/T 16605-2024 Recycled Cellulose Silk Fabrics" stipulates the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection rules, Encasement and logo of recycled cellulose silk fabrics, and describes the corresponding test methods. The standard is applicable to all kinds of used whitening, dyeing (yarn-dyed) or printing recycled cellulose silk fabrics, but not to fabrics for making lining. Compared with the 2008 version, this standard has adjusted the terms and technical requirements, and further improved the product quality control system. The standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Spinning & Weaving Products. It will be officially implemented on December 1, 2026. It provides an important basis for the production, inspection and trade of recycled cellulose silk fabrics.
