ASTM A950/A950M-11 (2023) is a standard specification for fusion-bonded epoxy-coated structural steel H-piles and sheet piles. It specifies qualification requirements for structural steel H-piles and sheet piles coated with protective fusion-bonded epoxy coatings by electrostatic spraying, flocking or fluidized bed processes. Film thickness measurement, bending testing, etc. of coating materials are required to meet film thickness, flexibility, continuity, impact resistance, chemical composition and corrosion resistance requirements. In addition, surface pretreatment, coating curing, storage and transportation requirements are also involved to ensure product mass and performance.
