ISO 7700-2 is a standard published by the international standards organization (ISO) that specifies a moisture meter performance check method for the measurement of oilseed Moisture content. The standard applies to a variety of oilseeds (e.g. rapeseed, sunflower seeds, etc.) and aims to ensure the accuracy and Reliability of moisture meters in actual use through a standardized testing process. The standard does not apply to type approval or initial calibrating, but is used to assess whether in-service moisture meters require further calibrating or repair. Moisture content samples are compared using reference methods such as ISO 665 to verify that the measurement error of the moisture meter is within the allowable range.
