The ISO 15361 standard specifies a method for determining the dry and wet zero-span tensile strength of pulp. The zero-span tensile strength is an important indicator for measuring the tensile strength of pulp fibres, reflecting the tensile strength of fibres. This method measures the maximum tensile strength of pulp fibres in unsupported conditions, respectively under drying and wet conditions. The test results can be used to evaluate the intrinsic strength of pulp and its performance under different Humidity conditions.
