GB/T 45475.2-2025 "Plastics, polyphenylene ether (PPE) molding and extrusion materials, Part 2: Specimen preparation and performance determination" was published on March 28, 2025 and will be implemented from October 1. The standard specifies the sample preparation and test methods for PPE molding and extrusion material performance testing, covering material handling, condition adjustment requirements, and clarifying the sample preparation procedures, conditions and performance test procedures. By standardizing the performance measurement of density, tensile, and impact, the results are guaranteed to have reproducibility and Repeatability, providing a scientific basis for PPE material performance evaluation and helping to ensure product mass and application results.
