GB/T 45593-2025 "Fine ceramics, micro-abrasion test to determine the abrasion resistance of coatings" is a special project standard for the determination of the wear resistance performance of ceramic coatings in our country. The standard is approved and issued by the State Administration for Market Regulations, and will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025. The standard innovatively adopts the improved technology of "ball pit method" to quantitatively evaluate the coating abrasion resistance through the micro-scale wear mark test (load 0.5-10 N), which is suitable for mass testing of industrial ceramic coatings such as cutting tools and fan blades. Compared with the traditional abrasion test method, it has the technical advantages of low equipment transformation cost (ball pit instrument upgrade), high test accuracy (+/- 5% repeatability error), and provides a standardized test plan for the 100 billion-level ceramic coating industry.
