GB/T 18396-2025 "Determination of latex surface tension" is an important physical performance test standard in the field of rubber industry in our country. This standard replaces the GB/T 18396-2008 version and standardizes the method of measuring the surface tension of various latex latex by ring method, which is suitable for natural latex, synthetic latex and related products. The new standard is higher on the priority list of optimization of platinum ring specifications, force measurement device accuracy and other technical parameters. The surface tension is accurately calculated by measuring the tensile force value at the moment of liquid membrane separation, providing key data for evaluating latex dispersion Stability and film formation performance. The standard is managed by the Rubber and Rubber Standardization Technical Committee of the National Rubber and Rubber Standardization Technical Committee, and will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025.
