GB/T 8292-2025 "Determination of volatile fatty acid value in condensed natural latex" is a key analytical method standard in the field of rubber industry in our country. This standard replaces the GB/T 8292-2008 version and modifies the ISO 506:2020 international standard to standardize the determination method of volatile fatty acid value in condensed natural latex. The new standard is higher on the priority list of optimization of reagent preparation requirements (such as adjusting sulfuric acid solution concentration), distillation operation process and other key technical links, and adds precision data representation, which significantly improves the test accuracy and operability. As a core indicator reflecting the preservation status of latex, the standard will be implemented on November 1, 2025 and will be managed by the Natural Rubber Sub-Technical Committee of the National Rubber and Rubber Standardization Technical Committee.
