The standard has been comprehensively revised for the 2008 version, focusing on strengthening the environmental performance requirements and structural design specifications of Encasement materials. The standard clearly stipulates the technical requirements, test methods and identification content of range hood Encasement, especially adding specific requirements for the use of recyclable materials and Encasement stability. As an important part of the family of standards for household appliances Encasement, the standard will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025 and will replace the GB/T 2 2939.2 - 2008 version.
