GB 9743-2024 "Car Tires" is a mandatory national standard in the field of car tires in our country. It was released on April 29, 2024 and officially implemented on May 1, 2025. The standard is the fourth revision since its release in 1988. The main updates include: strengthening safety performance indicators (such as improving wetland grip requirements), adding rolling resistance and wet road relative grip performance requirements, optimizing durability and high-speed performance test conditions, and tightening noise control standards. The new standard promotes technological upgrades in the industry by introducing stricter environmental protection and safety technical indicators, promotes energy conservation and emission reduction, and incorporates relevant technical requirements for smart tires. As the basis of 3C certification, its implementation will comprehensively improve the safety and environmental performance of car tire products in our country.
