GB 45671-2025 "Safety Technical Specifications for architectural waterproof coatings" is the first mandatory national standard for architectural waterproof coatings in our country, which will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025. The standard integrates the original three standards and makes mandatory provisions on key technical indicators such as combustion performance, flash point and limit of harmful substances of flexible waterproof coatings, cement-based Water proofers and other products. Focus on controlling the content of harmful substances such as volatile organic matter, formaldehyde and heavy metals, and ban high-risk ingredients such as tar polyurethane. As an important standard for supporting GB 55030-2022, its implementation will promote the industry to eliminate outdated production capacity and improve the safety and environmental friendliness of waterproof engineering.
