        GB/T 1766-2008 "Rating Methods for Paints and varnish coating aging" was proposed by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China and is under the supervision of the Coatings and Pigments Standardization Technical Committee of the Communist Party of China. The standard stipulates the general rules and methods for evaluating the aging degree of Paints and varnish coatings, including the rating criteria for various aging indicators. Through these rating methods, the aging degree and Stability of coatings under different environment conditions can be objectively measured, providing a scientific basis for coating selection and use. These ratings not only help evaluate the durability and performance of coatings, but also help develop maintenance and protection strategies to extend the life and effectiveness of coatings.
